Each year in August we hold a 2 day Open Weekend, which features access to areas of the museum normally closed to visitors as well as the opportunity to travel on a wide variety of vehicles. 

 

A free bus service operates from Carnegie Drive, Dunfermline, just behind Kingsgate Shopping Centre to the museum on both days of the event, every 15 minutes from 10am,

There will also be a free bus service from Halbeath Park&Ride, departing at 10.30am, and hourly thereafter.

There will also be a free bus service to provide transport around the site.

 

As well as visiting our display hall, why not browse through the collectors fair, or book a spot on our open top tour to view the Forth Bridges, leaving at 2pm on both days, or how about a Mystery Tour, departing at 1.10pm on both days.

 

Many of the vehicles from the museum's collection will be on display, along with visiting vehicles from around the UK
